International transportation

International road transportation is the most dynamically growing area of our Group, where we offer our Partners reliability, time and cost efficiency and flexibility.

Waberer's Group has the greatest own truck fleet of Central Eastern Europe and the most modern one in Europe. The fleet consisting of over 2,500 vehicles provides unique freight capacity and flexibility.

Our vehicles providing precise service to all countries of Europe meet technically the most stringent national and European environmental protection requirements. The vehicle bodies are easy to operate, promoting in this way the rapid and safe loading and unloading. Through the permanent communication connections established with vehicles our customers may receive precise information about the instantaneous position of their cargo.

In order to ensure a permanent high standard of services to your satisfaction, OSC (Optimum Solution Centre) units have been established in the field of international forwarding and transportation. In the framework of these units our Partners are offered an even greater attention by Waberer's management and we provide a more careful customer care with greater responsibility than ever before.

With the establishment of the OSC’s the specific customer care procedure system of Waberer's Optimum Solution brand name of the group is completed. This is because this system requires the continuous analysis and optimisation of every specific element of the tasks, assuming close and customer specific relations maintained with our Partners.

Full truckloads

The freight tasks involving the transportation of full truckloads (FTL) are performed by Waberer's Group using the own 2,500 vehicles and a sub-contractor fleet consisting of almost 600 qualified vehicles.

The sales structure is established divided according to Europe’s geographic and economic areas as well as the various industries. The organisation of freights is performed by the regional department in order to ensure that all the European regions have vehicle capacities satisfying the customer requirements. The various geographic regions are served by regional departments staffed by associates with excellent knowledge of the language, geography, economy and culture of the specific area.

Refrigerated transportation

We operate one of the largest own reefer fleets of the region.

Our reefer fleet has:

normal semi-trailer vehicles (suitable for deep frozen goods as well as fresh meat, vegetable and fruit),
semi-trailers with partitions,
semi-trailers with meat hook bodies.

SCM – Supply Chain Management

The objective of Waberer's Group is to continuously increase the efficiency in the network among the manufacturers and distributors. Therefore, we offer customised, bespoke package of services for each of our Partners within which an integrated service is provided covering each phase of transportation:

Direct contact with the dedicated Key Account Manager
Tailor-made operation and contacts, dedicated team and fleet
Concluding and management of frame contracts

Logistics

We provide full range, high added value logistics servicesfor each member of the supply chain. We strive to optimalize our resources in order to service our Customers effectively and in time, meanwhile continously improve our quality services and implement up-to-date technical equipment as well as procedures.

Our main focus, when built up our logistics services was warehousing and distribution services.

The currently available, geographically advantageously positioned warehouse facility exceeds 180 000 m2, located in the Budapest Intermodiális Logisztikai Központ (BILK) and growing year by year. In our warehouses, fitted with the most up-to-date infrastructure and information technology, stocking options include high-shelves, palettized or regular shelves. We are also able to offer facilities suitable for storing hazardous materials.

Our capabilities cover the following areas:

product manipulation activities (labelling, co-packing, picking and packing, unit load formation and distribution)
inventory management
public bonded warehouse services
comprehensive customs and banking administration
operation of warehouse registration system based on bar code
operation of web supported VMI centres
integration in the logistics and IT system of our customers
